Redmi Buds 5 has been launched in China and features a different design from the previous generation. Now it looks more ergonomic, and it is also said to be lighter. Some upgrades are also given to ensure that the quality is at a good level.
Redmi Buds 5 is TWS Bluetooh with relatively large 12.4mm audio driver with titanium coated polymer. The included built-in ANC system can cancel noise up to 46dB, while there are up to three options given for Transparency Mode.
Then it can also operate up to 8 hours for the earphone itself. It then increases to 40 hours with the help of a charging pod. With five minutes of charging, the playback time can reach 2 hours.
Tethering to the device can be done via bluetooth 5.3, which can also be connected with the Xiaomi Earbuds app for better. The audio bud also supports touchpad, while also supporting dual-device smart connection simultaneously. These earphones are sold in China at RMB199 (~RM127).
