Siri is a virtual assistant or digital personal assistant that is already built into iOS and macOS. It also has a poor reputation compared to Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Recently The Information reported that with iOS 18, Siri will be upgraded to be more powerful and powerful.
This new generation series is said to be integrated with Shortcuts. Where in Shortcuts, users can set various commands to perform a task or in other words make a task work automatically.
With just one simple command, Siri can access the camera, take five photos and combine them into a GIF, then immediately send it to a friend. It is likely that most of what is available in the Shortcuts gallery will be integrated into Siri. This is very similar to the Routine feature that has been supported on Samsung Bixby since the beginning of this year.
This update is said to make Siri more powerful and ready to compete with Alexa and Google Assistant. In the future Google Assistant will be updated with generative artificial intelligence. This team of virtual assistants has also shifted focus to BARD.
