Happy finger day to Google, the tech giant that started operations 25 years ago. In conjunction with celebrating their quarter-century birthday, Googl produced a special Google Doodle that can be seen on the Search page today.
The doodle is in the form of an animation that shows how the Google logo has changed since the company started operations. Although it started as a search engine, Google is now also involved in video streaming, artificial intelligence, messaging, email, self-driving systems and quantum computing.
The Google of the past is no longer the same as the Google of today. This begs the question of what their next evolution will be. The big challenge last year was the reduction of the workforce due to the pandemic. Now their status as the world's main search engine is threatened by TikTok which is the choice of generation Z.
