Spotify's "Supremium" Plan Is Shown In The App's Source Code

Spotify can be said to be one of the most popular audio streaming applications in the world, but unfortunately until now users are still waiting for a lossless audio offering that promises the best audio quality, like what is offered through other streaming services such as Apple Music and also Tidal.

Recently, /u/Hypixely on Reddit has said that he has found some details about Spotify's "no loss" plan in Spotify's source code, and expects that they will introduce this "Supremium" plan soon.

Among the details found include the ability to stream 24-bit audio, a 30-hour monthly audiobook subscription and also the ability to create playlists and audio using built-in artificial intelligence.

From the aspect of artificial intelligence, this "Supremium" plan also allows you to play songs based on the desired "BPM" rate, song transitions based on set time points and song genre filtering based on "mood".

Through the discovery in the source code as well, it is estimated that this "Supremium" plan will be offered at a price of $19.99 (~RM93), but it is also said that this price may only be used as a placeholder before Spotify confirms the actual price.

For now, the Spotify Premium price for the Malaysian market is set at RM15.90 per month.
