SYOK is a radio, podcast, video streaming service and also serves some news content. SYOK is a product under Astro just like Sooka and others. Most recently, the SYOK application has finally been offered to Astro Ultra and Ulti Box. According to Astro, the SYOK application on the Astro TV box will provide access to over 60 radio stations with various genres of music as well as access to over 360 podcasts in English, Malay, Chinese and Tamil.
SYOK's offer on Astro Ultra and Ulti Box will also make it easier for users to manage subscriptions in one place just like other streaming platforms that are already offered on these TV boxes. Not only that, the My Astro application which until now can only be accessed on Android, iOS and the web is also offered. With My Astro already built in, Astro customers can easily view account details, manage their subscriptions or even pay bills directly on the television.
With the addition of SYOK and MyAstro, Astro customers can now access 14 premium applications directly on the TV box including Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Viu, ZEE5, WeTV, HBO GO, iQIYI, TVBAnywhere+, BBC Player, beIN SPORTS CONNECT, Qalbox and even Astro GO .
