The Intel Core Ultra Processing Chip Series Will Be Launched On December 14th

With the presence of the Intel Meteor Lake series of processing chips that have just been announced, it is also known that it is the first processing chip that will use the Intel Core Ultra name, the branding of the new processing chip that will arrive on the market first for laptops.

During the opening of the Intel Innovation event taking place in San Jose, United States, Pat Gelsinger, CEO of Intel also announced that the first generation Intel Core Ultra processing chip (Meteor Lake) will be launched on December 14, 2023.

The Intel Meteor Lake series of processing chips is their first processing chip built using the Intel 4 process (7nm) and Foveros packaging technology which not only promises great performance, but also very efficient power consumption.

This processing chip is also the first to come with a built-in artificial intelligence (NPU) chip that allows users to take advantage of various artificial intelligence facilities locally on their own computers.

Acer is one of Intel's developer partners who showed a laptop that looks like an Acer Swift 5 or Swift 7 and Jerry Kao, CEO of Acer showed the laptop's ability to process an image of an astronaut dancing on the surface of the moon using Stable Diffusion.

Jerry didn't provide any details on when Acer laptops with Intel Meteor Lake or Intel Core Ultra processors will be introduced, but if they are coming along with the launch of those processors, it wouldn't be surprising if they would at least be introduced around the same date. , if not at the CES 2024 event later.
