The OnePlus 12 will reportedly be the first OnePlus device to support the optical zoom feature in collaboration with Hasselblad this new flagship device will focus on photography. The OnePlus 11 has proven they can come up with a worthwhile flagship device, what about the OnePlus 12?
Previously the design of the OnePlus 12 was leaked showing the camera bump more or less the same as the old model but with a new layout. It emphasizes the periscope camera like the Oppo Find X6 Pro. The new leaked design however shows a more or less identical design to the OnePlus 11.
The tri-camera configuration is still visible and is reported to be a 50MP Sony IMX9xx 1/1.4″ sensor, OIS + 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor + 64MP OmniVision OV64B 3x optical zoom and a 32MP selfie camera. There is a mysterious circle, not sure if it's an extra sensor or just a decoration. Hasselblad now only displays the H logo.
OnePlus 12 will likely come with a 6.7″ AMOLED 2K 120Hz screen, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a 5000mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
The device will be launched in China in December 2023 and for the global market in January 2024. Let's all look forward to it.
