Threads is a Twitter alternative application offered by Meta and operates under Instagram. Since its introduction, Threads has added one new feature after another to their app.
Recently, Threads has added search support to their service. Previously, users could only perform username searches – but with the latest update, users can perform keyword searches and see what real-time sharing is being discussed in Threads.
However, for now, this feature is offered in a few countries only, and focuses on English and Spanish first.
FYI, the search feature is one of the most requested things on Threads. Additionally, it is not yet known when Threads will add support for categorizing multiple shares using hashtags.
