Verbatim is an IT brand formerly known for its series of computer accessories and hardware, particularly its floppy disks, compact disks and reader devices. The brand is now seen back with a brand new offering, and among them is a PCIe 5.0 SSD.
The Verbatim Vi12000 is their latest storage offering, and as said, it is a PCIe 5.0 SSD storage with data read and write speeds as high as 12GB/s and 11.88GB/s. For now, it is still unknown what the storage offering will be, but it is expected to come with at least 2TB options.
In the meantime, for video game consoles such as Sony PlayStation 5 and also Xbox Series X and S, Verbatim also showed the Vi7000 SSD which will come with options for internal and external storage for these consoles.
