Today is quite a surprise because apart from Xiaomi Malaysia not only launched the Xiaomi 13T and 13T but also announced their first Wear OS smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch Pro 2. This watch is Xiaomi's second Wear OS watch after the Mi Watch which was launched in 2019.
This watch is equipped with a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. This watch is powered by a Snapdragon W5 + Gen 1 processing chip paired with 2GB of RAM memory and 32GB of internal storage. This watch also has Bluetooth 5.2 support, a dual-band GPS system, a 465mAh battery with a durability of up to 65 hours and a number of sensors such as a pulse scanner, gyroscope and bioelectrical analysis sensor support. The clock also supports rotary knobs.
Xiaomi also offers over 150 sports modes, 20 built-in watch faces and access to various applications and 5ATM waterproof protection. The watch straps offered are rubber and leather types with the option to buy other types. The clock body is quite durable with steel construction and silver or black color. The sale price in Malaysia is RM1199 but there is still no sale date for now.
In addition to Watch 2 Pro, Xiaomi Smart Band 8 was also launched. The screen is a 1.62″ 60Hz AMOLED and is powered by an Apollo Blue Lite chip. This health tracker has 150 sports modes, 5ATM water protection and a 190mAh battery that lasts up to 16 days.
Smart band 8 is built with NCVM material with a choice of gold or black. The selling price in Malaysia is RM199 and can be purchased from September 27.
