The Adobe Max event is currently underway with various innovations in the creative world being shared. One that caught our attention was Project Primrose which is a dress that can be changed in the blink of an eye.
Primrose is a t-shirt produced using e-ink screen pieces. Users can program different patterns that can change in an instant according to their wishes. In the demo shown just now, the only change is in black and white. There is a control switch to do pattern exchange.
It can also change according to body movements with moving patterns in the form of short animations. Project Primrose is still just a demo at this time. Conceptually it's the same as BWM's color-changing car that was shown at CES last year also with a built-in e-ink panel.
