Since the launch, a number of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro Max users have reported experiencing heating problems, where their devices become hotter than usual when in use. Recently, through a statement issued by Apple to Forbes, they confirmed the matter and stated that they would provide an iOS software update to overcome it in the near future.
Apple emphasizes that new devices will experience heating issues at an early stage due to its higher operations in re-indexing various content on new devices.
However, in the new iOS 17, Apple has identified a bug that leads to higher heating. Apple is expected to offer an update to address this bug in the near future.
At the same time, some third-party applications are also seen to make the system work higher, and lead to this heating problem. Apple says it is working with the developer of this app to resolve the issue and introduce an update to the app.
Along with this, Apple emphasized that this problem is not caused by the titanium design of the new iPhone, and stated that there will be no long-term impact for the iPhone due to this. For now, there is no time given for the introduction of an iOS update that will fix this heating problem.
