Apple Expected to Upgrade Search Engine Support on the App Store

Last week, we heard about Microsoft's openness to selling Bing to Apple a few years ago, but it didn't go ahead. Since then, Apple is ready to improve their own search engine support found in some of their applications, including Apple Maps and so on.

Apple also through the last iOS 14 has improved the Spotlight search feature which at the same time also allows users to not only search for documents and applications in the device, but also web search results through it.

Most recently, according to a Bloomberg report, Apple is now in the process of bringing brand new and more powerful search engine technology to the App Store – the application store used on iOS and MacOS.

In addition, Apple also has a relatively good advertising offering in the app store, compared to what other competitors out there have.

With these various technologies, it is speculated that Apple already has various availability in launching their own search engine. The only question is whether Apple will launch their own offering, or keep Google on their devices?
