This year, we've seen Apple introduce a new update to their premium watch, the Apple Watch Ultra 2. It comes with more or less the same design, but an update with a brighter screen, as well as support for a new chip that controls finger gesture control support.
Ming-Chi Kuo is now reporting that Apple may not introduce an update for the Apple Watch Ultra next year. This is because there is no indication from the supplier that Apple is developing this watch.
Kuo also stated that this could be because Apple is improving the capabilities of fitness and health features on the watch and also wants to ensure that the micro-LED screen panel that will be used passes their standards. This would also make each update for the Apple Watch Ultra more meaningful – much like an update for the AirPods Max takes place every few years.
The next generation Apple Watch Ultra is expected to be built with 3D printed components, a 2.1″ screen and may arrive in 2025 or 2026. Let's all look forward to more information about Apple's most advanced smartwatch.
