A number of companies in China are quite active in the development of their own artificial intelligence models, and are integrated into various things to facilitate the daily tasks of humans. Baidu is one of the companies that developed their own AI model, and recently they have introduced the latest version of their AI model, which is Ernie 4.0.
For information, Baidu is an internet giant in China, with a focus on offering search engines, as well as providing a number of other services.
Baidu says Ernie 4.0 is equivalent to GPT-4 developed by OpenAI. It allows this AI model to do a variety of things, including writing novels in real-time based on given input.
Baidu also showed Ernie 4.0 which is capable of producing posters for advertising, in addition to direct video through artificial intelligence.
This can be said to be among the healthy developments by Baidu and the arena of artificial intelligence. Previously, Baidu introduced a chatbot powered by Ernie in March 2023, named ErnieBot.
