Blue Origin is one of the aerospace-focused companies owned by Jeff Bezos, and has done several space missions before. Most recently, Blue Origin announced a new spacecraft platform, called Blue Ring.
Through Blue Ring, the platform will focus on providing logistics and delivery services in space. Blue Ring will cover missions in Earth orbit up to Earth-lunar space, and will offer comprehensive services including hosting, delivery, backfill, data transmission, logistics, and even cloud computing support in space.
This Blue Ring will support shipments involving a capacity of over 3000 kilograms through it. With this offering, Blue Origin is seen to be overcoming problems that have been difficult for various space agencies and governments to do before.
