Today, artificial intelligence is the talk of the town, with more people relying on and using it to perform a variety of tasks – including uses like ChatGPT, DALL-E, Google Bard, Bing Chat, and so on.
In parallel, Malaysia also does not want to be left behind, and the government has now announced the country's first artificial intelligence study center, which is the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
An amount of RM20 million ringgit is provided as an initial allocation in developing it. It is also expected to help in intensifying the exploration of cross-disciplinary AI.
