Budget 2024: RM30 Million For The Development Of The e-Sports Industry

 


Malaysia is also not lagging behind in following the development of the increasingly popular video game industry. At the same time it has also become a global phenomenon now that can contribute to the country's economic growth.



In an effort to continue promoting Malaysia as a hub for the development of the e-sports industry, funds of RM30 million have been allocated for it. It is to encourage any international video game company or studio to invest in Malaysia in the development of digital products that also involve local talent. This can indirectly continue to help develop e-sports in Malaysia, while at the same time being able to open up greater opportunities to continue to grow.
