Budget 2024: RM600 Million Will Be Used To Develop 3 Bus Depots And 150 Electric Buses

 


The LRT3 project will eventually connect the areas of Shah Alam and Klang to areas of Petaling Jaya such as Dataran Prima, Damansara Utama, Taman Kayu Ara Indah and so on and is expected to open around mid-2025.



To increase and facilitate access to these LRT3 stations, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced that the Infrastructure Department will also invest RM600 million to develop three new bus depots and to purchase 150 electric buses that will go to various locations along the LRT3 rail. this.


In the meantime, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also confirmed that five LRT3 stations whose construction was canceled before will continue, including the Tropicana, Raja Muda, Temasya, Bukit Raja and Bandar Botanik stations.


This investment is seen to help those who depend on public services to move around to more easily access the LRT3 stations when they open later.
