The presentation of Budget 2024 today also emphasized the use of electric vehicles (EV) in Malaysia. This is to further encourage people to accept the use of EVs. Therefore, the government has welcomed investments of more than RM170 million.
This investment is by TNB, Gentari and Tesla Malaysia to install 180 sets of EV chargers in Malaysia. This means that Malaysia will soon have more EV charging stations that will facilitate the growing number of electric vehicle owners.
