The Dance Dance Revolution arcade game cabinet is perhaps one of the most recognizable in the world. This dance rhythm game requires players to use foot movements according to the rhythm of the song. In conjunction with DDR's 25th anniversary, a mini cabinet has been produced by Konami and this time it can be played with fingers.
The Dance Dance Revolution Classic Mini small cabinet contains three games namely Dance Dance Revolution, Dance Dance Revolution 2nd Mix, and Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix. Two "controllers" connected to the cabinet can be placed on the table to be played with the fingers or held in the hand like a video game controller. Also if you have a full size DDR controller at home it can be connected to this mini cabinet.
The screen on the cabinet works and displays game graphics along with built-in speakers playing the songs you want to listen to. If this screen feels too small, an HDMI connection to the TV can be done. Despite its small size, Dance Dance Revolution Classic Mini functions like a real arcade cabinet. In Japan it can be purchased at a price of 43,780 Yen (~RM1384) each.
