Blackmagic Design announced their popular application DaVinci Resolve will finally be natively supported on Windows PCs with ARM chips. The announcement was made during the Snapdragon Summit event this morning.
In a presentation by Dave Lebolt, head of strategy at Blackmagic Design, DaVinci Resolve on a PC with a Snapdragon X Elite can perform some AI features almost twice as fast as a PC with an Intel chip.
The release date of DaVinci Resolve for Windows ARM has not yet been announced but it is currently in development. Previously DaVinci Resolve was only supported on MacBooks and iPads with ARM-based chips. With this announcement Windows ARM users will no longer feel their computers have been forgotten by developers.
