TM today has officially announced the introduction of a new internet package with a lower price, and bringing the minimum speed package that can be subscribed to is 100Mbps. Parallel to this announcement, TM also announced a speed upgrade offer to existing customers who have supported Unifi until today.
All existing Unifi customers will receive the speed upgrade in stages, and TM aims for it to take 3 months before all customers receive it.
For existing 30Mbps package customers, you will receive an upgrade to 100Mbps. Here is the upgrade package you will receive:
30Mbps package >> upgraded to 100Mbps
100Mbps package >> upgraded to 300Mbps
300Mbps package >> upgraded to 500Mbps
500Mbps package >> upgraded to 800Mbps
800Mbps package >> upgraded to 1Gbps.
1Gbps package >> upgraded to 2Gbps
For information, this upgrade is for Unifi's existing package only. There are no speed upgrade offers available for Unifi Rahmah 30Mbps customers at this time.
TM stated that all users will be offered a free speed upgrade without the need to renew the service contract, or any other requirements.
In addition to upgrading, if you do not need a higher speed and are no longer bound by a contract, then you can apply to maintain the speed and save more on your monthly bill.
