Fitbit is a fitness-focused brand owned by Google. At an event held today, Fitbit's new app was shown off with a neat design. Along with it, Google also announced the presence of a chatbot integration feature based on artificial intelligence on the application.
Through the generative features included in the bot, it allows the user to ask a question, and it will gather various health and fitness data to provide a good answer to the user.
In the demo shown, the chatbot was asked a question about a reduced running speed, and it gathered a lot of data in response – including more challenging routes, as well as previous sleep patterns that may have had an effect.
The integration of Personal AI on Fitbit will also allow users to generate training that is personalized to them according to the data that involves them. This is expected to lead to a healthier lifestyle and more suitable activities for a user.
The chatbot integration feature on the Fitbit app will be tested with a number of users first, before it is rolled out to all users worldwide.
