Google Introduces One Sans AR Font For Virtual Reality

Virtual reality (VR), mixed reality (MR) and augmented reality (AR) devices will become increasingly popular in the near future as Apple and Meta believe they are the future devices that will replace smartphones. So Google Fonts has launched the AR One Sans typeface designed specifically for use in VR and MR worlds.

It was designed by Niteesh Yadav with a focus on making the face of the letter easily readable from various angles. It has an optimized distance to facilitate reading in dark background situations or with objects behind it.

The AR One Sans family consists of Regular 400, Medium 500, Seminold 600 and Bold 700 with different thickness levels. This font is offered under the Open Font License and can be used for free.
