Google Is Estimated To Pay Apple Up To RM95 Billion A Year To Remain As The Main Search Engine On The iPhone

Google is now reportedly paying Apple between $18 billion and $20 billion (~RM95 billion) a year, in an effort to remain the main search engine on Apple products, especially the iPhone. This is shared by financial analysts - as well as providing a financial impact on Apple if Google is no longer the main search engine on the iPhone.

This partnership comes in parallel with the trial involving Google stating that they monopolize the search engine arena and the advertising revenue through it.

In addition to being the main search engine for Apple products, Google also has collaborations with a number of device manufacturers including Samsung, as well as the developer of the Mozilla web browser.

For now, the various numbers shared are through analysts only, and not the official numbers shared by Apple or Google.
