Last month, an alleged Google Pixel 8a device was leaked. It is one of the first Pixel devices to be leaked as the device is expected to be launched in May 2024. Recently, a high-resolution mockup image was also leaked and shows a more or less identical design.
The design of the Pixel 8a is similar to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro in that it curves around and has a flat screen. The screen of the device is said to be 6.1-inches with a relatively thick bezel again on the chin. The use of the large camera bar is still maintained with two cameras on the back along with a hole in the screen for the selfie camera.
The Pixel 8a will also be powered by the Google Tensor G3 chip but a lower power version, paired with a Mali-G715 GPU and 8GB of RAM memory. The entire device also looks thinner than the Pixel 7a. For now, other details of this device are still unknown. Pixel 8 Pro's generative AI features such as Magic Editor may also be supported on this device. Let's wait together.
