Google Pixel Watch 2 was officially launched today. From the design aspect it looks similar to the previous generation. Still significant improvements include a sensor capable of tracking up to 40% more accurately and an upgraded AI algorithm with support for three new sensors.
The Pixel Watch 2 comes with a 1.2" round OLED screen with a 41mm body that uses 100% recycled aluminum. It also uses a Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chip with matching 2GB RAM memory, 32GB storage and a 306mAh battery that can last up to 24 hours on a single charge.
The sensors present are pulse scanner, sleep tracking, skin temperature and Continuous Electrodermal Activity with the ability to detect real-time pressure levels. Various sports activities can also be tracked automatically, besides this watch also supports UWB which should allow it to track other devices more accurately.
There is also Fitbit system integration which allows more accurate heart rate and sleep tracking to be achieved according to Google. With a Fitbit Premium subscription, users can access various exercise sessions according to their personal goals. The sale price starts at $349 with two options of LTE and WiFi variations.
