Google previously introduced a feature to easily remove unwanted objects in photos, through the Magic Eraser feature. Users can simply tap on a photo, and then remove it, making the photos you take neater.
Now, in addition to images, Google has also expanded the offer to include videos. The feature, called Audio Magic Eraser, was shown off at the Pixel 8 launch event today, and will be coming first to the device.
Through it, when activated, Audio Magic Eraser will identify the audio on a recorded video, and further isolate it by categorizing it. The user can then choose to remove or reduce the volume of the audio in question.
This at the same time makes the audio editing process on a video easier. In fact, users can also store video memory recordings better without having to go through a difficult editing process.
This feature was first announced for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. It is not yet known when it will be extended to other devices in the market.
