Huawei today also announced its new tablet MatePad 11.5″ PaperMatte Edition in Malaysia. As the name suggests, the main focus must be on the matte filter support used to reduce glare on the screen.
It gets even better when it also passes the TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification for low blue light illumination. In addition, there is also a built-in Color eBook Mode that offers a reading experience as if on paper.
The screen used is an 11.5-inch IPS LCD with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is also matched with a Snapdragon 870 chip, 8GB RAM memory, 256GB internal storage and running HarmonyOS 3.1 for the mainstay.
This means that this tablet supports various built-in smart features such as Group Collaboration, Smart Multi-window and easy file sharing with SuperHub. In addition, it can be used with additional accessories such as the Huawei M-Pencil (2nd generation) keyboard and stylus.
The main camera capabilities consist of 13MP + 8MP which is also followed by an 8MP selfie camera. Also included are four speakers with Huawei Histen 8.1 audio and a 7700mAh battery that supports a 22.5W fast charging system.
For those interested, this tablet is sold at RM2,299 with a Space Gray color option. Every purchase comes with a gift worth up to RM1,496 which includes a free keyboard. Availability is through authorized Huawei distributors throughout Malaysia.
