Infinite Machines P1 Introduced – Mini Scooter Priced Around RM 47,000

The electric scooter arena is showing momentum and more and more manufacturers are coming up with their own offerings and also coming up with radical designs. Infinite Machines has come with their electric scooter P1 with a very futuristic design.

Infinite Machine P1 has a maximum speed of 88 km/h with a maximum motor power of 12kW, supported by a 4.3 kW capacity battery that can be removed to allow users to charge it at home. On a full charge, it can go as far as 90km, and is complete with three riding modes, namely Eco, Performance, Turbo Boost and has a reverse function. The time required to fully charge this battery is around 4-6 hours.

What distinguishes the Infinite Machines P1 from other models on the market is that it features a modular design on the side of the scooter, which can be changed from loading a bag, loading two extra batteries, or even carrying a speaker. This provides more storage space in addition to the storage available under the seat and under the handlebars of the scooter.

Also differentiating this scooter from others is that they say this is the first scooter in its class to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless tethering. So the user can have all the application access without any limitations. However, they also state that it may not be suitable for use in heavy rain or snowy conditions.

Infinite Machines has opened pre-orders for this scooter at a price of $10,000 (~ RM 47,000) and it is limited to 1000 units for the US market only for now. Buyers are also expected to receive this scooter around 12-18 months and they also said the design is currently in Alpha version and will likely be improved for final production.
