Intel Core i9 Raptor Lake Refresh Confirmed To Have 6.0GHz Speed

Intel is expected to launch the Raptor Lake Refresh processing chip for desktop computers on October 17, and recently, it seems that a number of marketing materials have been leaked to the internet arena showing the overclocking speed values for the Intel Core i9, Core i7 and Core i5 chip series for the CPU series. .

The marketing materials also show the core value of these processing chips, although details such as the name of the processing chips are not shown. The Intel Core i9 chip is seen to have 24 physical cores consisting of 8 performance cores and 16 efficiency cores with a speed of 6.0GHz.

The Intel Core i7 chip shown has 20 cores with 8 performance cores and 12 efficiency cores with a maximum speed of 5.6GHz. The Intel Core i5 model has 14 cores with 6 performance cores and 8 efficiency cores with a maximum speed value of 5.3GHz.

It should also be noted that since Intel introduced the concept of Performance and Efficient cores, maximum overclocking is limited to P cores only. Interestingly, there are also some reports that this confirms the rumors that these three CPUs are Intel Core i9-14900K, Intel Core i7-14700K and Intel Core i5-14600K.

It is also expected that the Intel Core i9-14900K which has a maximum speed of 6GHz has a TDP of 125W compared to the Intel Core i9-13900KS which has a TDP of 150W. It is also the first non-KS series CPU to have this 6GHz maximum speed.

As said, Intel will launch this series of Raptor Lake Refresh processing chips on October 17, complete with offering additional specifications, model names and even price tags.
