IPC Is The First Shopping Center To Offer Electric Motorcycle Charging

More and more EVs are on the road every day and charging is something that often causes EV owners to feel anxious because of the dilemma of their vehicle's travel distance, and also the availability of chargers for use. Many shopping malls already offer charging for electric vehicles, but not many allow electric motorcycles to be charged, because the parking lots are different.

IPC, formerly also known as Ikano Power Center, has been operating since 2003 with an emphasis on sustainability. Today they introduced charging for electric vehicles, including for electric motorcycles and also special parking for disabled users who own electric vehicles.

To activate the AC 11kW Type 2 charger, users need to download the IPC application and the charging rate is RM 7 for every 30 minutes. Users can also use reward points earned when shopping at IPC, with a redemption rate of 100 points for 30 minutes of charging. The charging speed depends on your vehicle and there is no time limit for charging. For disabled users, there are security guards who are also ready to help users for the entire charging process.

In addition, the IPC also provides special fire blankets for electric vehicles. This blanket works to stop the fire from getting worse, by preventing the presence of oxygen and can be used repeatedly - in the event of any fire involving electric vehicles.

If you have an electric motorcycle, you can enter the motorcycle parking lot at IPC, and go directly to the charging location that is placed near the motorcycle parking area. With the facilities provided by this IPC shopping center, it is hoped that more locations will also provide electric chargers for all types of vehicles.
