Jabra until today is still active in offering equipment for offices such as audio sets and camera sets. Their webcam PanaCast 20 is of such high quality that today I use it for various teleconference sessions. Recently, Jabra Malaysia has launched the PanaCast 50 which is a soundbar system with a camera for office use.
The Jabra PanaCast 50 is a soundbar with a 13 Megapixel camera that supports a 180-degree viewing angle and performs 4K recording. The speaker system used has 4 special drivers that can cancel the echo effect. There are 8 built-in microphones to support capturing the audio of each individual in the office space easily.
Additionally, a 10.1-inch Android-powered tablet is included with every purchase. It serves as the main control tool for managing meetings, announcing things and more. Jabra includes Microsoft Teams and Zoom built in to make it even easier for every employee.
The PanaCast 50 system also has support for connecting its own meeting equipment such as other cameras, microphones and other office equipment that require an Internet connection. Also built-in is a smart meeting room system, digital director, smart zoom and several other digital tools that facilitate meetings and record attendance.
The Jabra PanaCast 50 can be connected with HDMI and supports display sharing if you want to use more than one screen. An air sensor is also provided to read the air quality in the room and most interestingly there is an Ultrasonic Motion feature that detects humans and the device is activated automatically.
The selling price in Malaysia is RM26,070 and Jabra Malaysia targets this product for enterprise users only.
