Like Others, Amazon Now Also Adds Support For Passkey

If you have an Amazon account and regularly shop on this popular e-commerce site, Amazon has recently integrated Passkey support. Passkey is a new login method that is being implemented by a number of companies to make it easier for users to log in without a password.

With Passkey, the security of the account is more guaranteed because it depends on a biometric scan of fingerprints, face or even a pin. It also passes Fido Alliance standards and has been supported by Google, Apple, Microsoft and various technology companies.

For now, only Amazon's website supports Passkey. The Amazon Shopping app for iOS and Android will be updated soon. For other Amazon services such as Prime Video, they still haven't announced anything yet.

More and more services are starting to support Passkey. Last week, it was integrated on the WhatsApp app for Android. Soon you will see more services supporting this passwordless login system.
