Mark Zuckerberg today shared that Threads now has nearly 100 million monthly active users – a very good number for a service that has only been launched for 3 months.
Threads operates under Instagram, allowing it to reach high user numbers quickly. It is positioned as one of the alternatives for Twitter or now named as X.
Sharing further, Mark Zuckerberg also stated that he sees Threads can reach 1 billion users in a few years, and also become one of the platforms that focuses on positive sharing.
With the various problems and changes experienced in X, perhaps we will see more people switch to Threads. Meta itself has been quite active in introducing new features to Threads – in line with what die-hard users of its service have been asking for.
