A new update on Weibo today revealed that MediaTek is in the process of coming with a new processor. It is an introduction for their new flagship processing chip and is scheduled to take place in China on November 6, 2023.
No specific details about it have been revealed for now, but many are associating it with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, which has also been a hot topic lately. Moreover, after the Antutu benchmark score for it was found to be leaked with a score of over 2 million points, it could be the closest competitor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the future.
It is also a continuation of the Dimensity 9200 chip that was announced last year, but it has to be improved in terms of performance. The chip is also said to have a configuration of four Cortex X4 cores, four large Cortex A720 cores, and an Immortalis G720 MC12 GPU.
