Apple today announced a new accessory for the iPad, the Apple Pencil that comes with USB-C support for charging. At the same time, this model comes as the lowest priced model compared to the other two existing Apple Pencil variants on the market.
Apple Pencil is widely used for making notes and sketches on the iPad. With this new model, it can be used on all iPads that use a USB-C connection.
Unlike before, this Apple Pencil has a dedicated USB-C port for connecting to the iPad, as well as for charging. On the other hand, if connected magnetically, it will enter sleep mode to save battery.
The new Apple Pencil can be used with all iPad models that have a USB-C connection, including the iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad Mini.
In Malaysia, the new Apple Pencil is listed at a price of RM399.
