Google has already launched Android 14 stable version last week. The update is limited to Pixel and Xiaomi devices first while other devices are still in beta testing or in development.
Last night, Nothing introduced Nothing OS 2.5 Open Beta 1 built on Android 14 for testing by all Nothing Phone users (2). Here is a list of new features offered in this update;
Tidier widgets and more options.
Screenshots now have new editing tools.
Gesture controls now follow the Nothing OS theme.
Application icons can now be hidden.
Screenshots can be done with a three-finger gesture.
The lock screen and home screen customization pages are easier to use.
Glass filter and new color options for more background images.
Supports stock Android monochrome theme.
The notification tray now has quick access to TWS Nothing Ear.
Lock screen quick access now more options.
The volume control is updated with a new interface.
Nothing OS 2.5 is currently limited to Phone (2) devices running Nothing OS 2.0.3 and those interested can participate through a special application that you can download at the link below. This beta version is still in testing and there is no fixed date when the stable version and for Phone (1) will be offered.
