NVIDIA Reportedly Developing Processing Chips For ARM-Based Computers

NVIDIA today is well known for its graphics card offerings, as well as solutions for data centers – especially in the current era of artificial intelligence explosion. In addition to this, it is now reported that NVIDIA will present a processing chip for computers - while competing in an arena dominated by Intel today.

NVIDIA Reportedly Developing Processing Chips For ARM-Based Computers

NVIDIA has reportedly started developing processing chips that can run the Windows operating system, using an ARM-based chip design. If all goes well, NVIDIA is expected to offer chips for their computers as early as 2025.

This week, Qualcomm is expected to introduce a processor chip for computers with an Arm-based build, called Snapdragon X. AMD is also said to be developing a processor chip for ARM-based computers, and is expected to introduce it in 2025 – roughly the same period as NVIDIA.

The use of ARM-designed chips is expected to offer efficient rates, especially in terms of longer battery life - allowing users to use the laptop for almost a day without problems.

With this move, it will certainly challenge Intel which has been offering the majority of processing chips for Windows-based computers. Let's all look forward to further developments in this processing chip arena.
