Two years ago, the OnePlus Watch was launched after a long wait for a smart watch from the brand under BBK Electronics. This watch however is not Wear OS, but rather their own operating system with Google Maps support and OnePlus ecosystem integration.
Most recently, Max Jambor as a OnePlus product leaker reported that OnePlus in 2024 will launch a new smart watch. He stated that this watch will use a round screen design like the OnePlus Watch and not a square one like the Nord Watch.
Interestingly, this watch is said to be a Wear OS watch and is most likely a rebrand of the Oppo Watch for the global market. The watch will have a 466 x 466 resolution screen, powered by Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 + BES 2700, ECG support, Always-on Display, eSIM, gesture control like Apple Watch Series 9, blood oxygen tracking and more. Let's all look forward to OnePlus' first Wear OS watch next year.
