The OnePlus Open was launched a while ago and it is actually the Oppo Find N3 that has just been rebranded. Therefore it is equipped with a 6.3″ AMOLED LTPO 120Hz outer screen and a foldable 7.8″ AMOLED LTPO 120Hz inner screen. This is matched to the Snapragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16GB RAM LPDDR5X memory, 512GB UFS 4.0 storage and a 4800 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Only wired charging via USB-C is supported.
The main camera on the back is a combination of a 48MP wide-angle lens with OIS, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64MP telephoto lens with OIS. Optical zoom can be done up to 3x, lossless up to 6x and digital zoom up to 120x. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the outside screen and a 20MP selfie camera on the inside. The rear camera supports the Hasselblad color system. Because of the large sensor size, the three main tri-cameras are placed in a very large camera bump. The only difference with the Find N3 is that the OnePlus Open passes the IPX4 waterproof standard that the Oppo device lacks.
The device also supports Dolby Vision HDR system and Dolby Atmos audio. There is a drop down button to mute, select ring mode or vibrate mode on the device. The fingerprint scanner is built into the power button. The OxygenOS 13 operating system based on Android 13 is still in use. OnePlus promises support for four Android versions and five years of security patches for Open.
The device is offered in two colors namely Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black while the selling price is Rupees 139,999 (~RM 7989) which is comparable to the Oppo Find N3 which is sold at a price of RM7999 in Malaysia.
