The Oppo Find N3 and N3 Flip were launched today and both will also be marketed in Malaysia. On the same day, Oppo also launched this foldable smartphone in China with a feature that we feel is very unique. According to Oppo, Find N3 has the ability to open 40 file formats including CAD and from the Apple ecosystem such as Keynote and Pages.
According to Oppo, no new apps or plugins are needed to open previously unsupported file formats on Android devices. We were unable to try this feature on the reviewed Find N3 as it does not appear to be supported on the global version of ColorOS 13.2. There are also screenshots showing files from the Find N3 can be sent directly to the MacBook. What system is used we do not know at this time.
This is the first time Apple software files are supported on Android devices as far as we know. Why it is only offered in the Chinese market is also a mystery because Apple is known for their walled garden principle which does not make it easy for their files to be shared on the ecosystem of other manufacturers.
