Today, there are 22 DCFC stations along the Plus Highway helping electric vehicle users to charge their vehicles and arrive at their destination safely. Sharing more about it, PLUS today when launching modular EV charging stations, also stated that they aim to reach a total of 40 DCFC stations by the end of 2023.
In addition, according to the planning plan, PLUS aims to provide 100 direct current fast charging stations (DCFC) by 2025, on the PLUS Expressway network.
PLUS also informed that some existing AC charging points at PETRONAS petrol stations around the rest and treatment (R&R) area and the side stop will be upgraded to DC Fast charging points (DCFC).
