ASUS introduced the ROG SWIFT Pro PG248QP display during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, and not much is known about this display except that it has a size of 24.1 inches with Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 540Hz, which makes it a display which is very suitable for games in the genre of FPS and also MOBA such as Counter-Strike, Valorant, League of Legends and DOTA 2.
Recently, through a video, ASUS has shown the full specifications of this screen display, and it is quite interesting. Apart from the size, resolution and refresh rate, ASUS seems to use a unique TN panel called E-TN or E-sports TN panel.
The uniqueness of this E-TN is certainly present through support for a refresh rate of up to 540Hz, a GTG (gray-to-grey) latency time of 0.2ms and a brightness value of 400 nits that allows it to support DisplayHDR400 display technology. It is also capable of processing 125 percent of the sRGB color gamut with Delta E<2 and a viewing angle of 170 degrees from left to right.
NVIDIA G-SYNC and Reflex Analyzer graphics functions are also included, but one function that e-sports fans will definitely want is Ultra Low Motion Blur 2 (ULMB2) which further reduces motion blur for sharper graphics and makes it easier for players to see. and act against the opponent.
In terms of plugs, the ROG SWIFT Pro PG248QP comes with a DisplayPort 1.4+ plug with Display Stream Compression technology, HDMI 2.0 and a USB 3.2 hub. The display also has a 3.5mm audio jack, which comes with an ESS Codec audio chip that supports 32-bit audio for high-quality audio and near-zero latency.
For now, ASUS has not yet announced when they will sell the ROG SWIFT Pro PG248QP e-sports screen.
