Samsung is now introducing a new feature they provide for Samsung Galaxy users, called Temporary Cloud Backup or "Temporary Cloud Backup". That way, it's especially useful for those who need access to large-sized storage temporarily – for example when you want to switch to a new device.
This temporary backup support is offered through Samsung Cloud – where users can use unlimited storage but each file is limited to a maximum size of 100GB. Backup data will also be stored for 30 days since upload, and after 30 days the data will be completely deleted automatically.
With this step, users can easily create a backup copy when they want to switch devices – and download the backup data to the new device.
Samsung says this feature will be introduced globally in stages, starting with smartphones and tablets that support One UI 6 – starting with phones under the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series.
