Although Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Tab FE series, their Galaxy Tab A series is still offered as their most affordable Android tablet. Most recently, a tablet said to be the Galaxy Tab A9 has been listed on Samsung Guatemala's website.
The Galaxy Tab A9 is seen with an 8.7-inch screen which is smaller than the Tab A8 with a 10.5-inch screen last year. For the chip, Samsung chose the MediaTek Helio G99 paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The tablet supports Bluetooth 5.3, a 5000mAh battery and 15W charging. There is one camera on the back and one on the front. The design of this tablet is seen to be more or less the same as the previous Galaxy Tab A8. Samsung is said to also offer the Galaxy Tab A9 Plus.
The Tab A9 Plus may come with an 11-inch screen, Bluetooth 5.1 and a larger battery of 7040mAh. Both of these tablets are expected to use LCD screens and be sold at affordable prices. This Tab A9 is seen to be sold at a price of GTQ 1499 (~RM906). If it enters the Malaysian market, we may see the same price as the Tab A8, which starts at RM999, let's all look forward to it.
