Samsung today is ready to lead the foldable phone arena with the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip smartphones. Now, according to an early report from South Korea's The Elec, Samsung reportedly aims to sell around 20 million units of smartphones with a foldable screen design by 2024.
This shows an increase compared to the target of 15 million for the year 2023.
The foldable phone arena itself received a lot of attention this year, including the participation of various other manufacturers more seriously including Google, Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, and even Tecno. This is expected to lead to healthy competition and the development of foldable screen technology faster than before.
