Today, Apple and Huawei are ready to add satellite communication support for emergency purposes through their smartphones, to be used when there is no cellular or WiFi connection on the device. In addition to these two manufacturers, now Samsung has also confirmed that it will add the feature to the Galaxy S24 later.
The matter was confirmed by Samsung executives, stating that the Galaxy S24 will arrive in early 2024 with the feature.
This will make it easier for Samsung device users to communicate in an emergency, especially when they are out of the area such as in the forest, in the middle of the ocean, etc.
It is not yet known whether Samsung will expand the feature regarding the ability to send messages or not. A partner for the satellite has also not been announced at this time.
With this development, let's all look forward to what other surprises Samsung will provide through their new flagship phones later.
