Sharp AQUOS Sense8 was introduced as a mid-range device with built-in 5G. It is also marketed with two main focuses, namely a good camera system and long battery life.
In terms of design, AQUOS Sense8 has two camera bumps on the back with a dual-camera system. The rear panel is also equipped with LED Flash and a glossy finish with AQUOS specific branding. The front panel is flat which is also equipped with a small notch for the selfie camera. It can also be seen that the bezel size of the device is uneven with the existence of a thick chin at the bottom.
Turning to the specifications, a 6.1-inch IGZO OLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate is used. This is paired with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, 6GB RAM memory and 128GB internal storage as the mainstay of the device.
Also included is a 50MP OIS main sensor with up to 2X zoom support and a complementary 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Other specifications include a 5,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 5 (ac), bluetooth 5.1, NFC and a 3.5mm audio jack. This device is sold in Japan at a price of JPY 62,150 (~RM1,970).
